Eye problems? I just had a thoracotomy to remove a metastatic thyroid cancer node from near my heart. Now 6 days later I am l having eye problems. When I look around I can actually see dots that seem to pulsate with every heartbeat. My blood pressure is normal and my pulse is not high either does anyone know what is causing me to see this? I have had some headaches too since the surgery. Can you help>

Does burrowing its face in corn litter help a kitten have eye problems and is this normal behavior? My 12 1/2 week old kitten is constantly having irritated eyes, but it burrows its head in the corn litter on a regular basis. I have been undergoing left eye problems. I have had a number of procedures for a detached retina and hole? It has been 7 months and if anything it seems to be getting worse. Eye problems, why is one of my eyelids not showing? Eye balance problem in eight year old child with no previous eye problems? Ok. My eight year old daughter was sent home from school with a note saying that during a routine eye exam at school it was discovered that she has an "eye balance" problem. Eye Problems? I have been having eye problems on and off for the last 2 years or so. They get really irritated, and they start watering, and even sometimes when they get really bad they begin to pus, and it really hurts. I went to my eye doctor, but he just gave me some allergy medicine, and left it at that, after a while using them, i found they did not work. They would stop the watering, but the pus, and the irritation was still there, so i went back and he took a look and said nothing was physically wrong with my eyes, i most likely had an infection, so he gave me some antibiotics, and a sterioid to help with the inflammation. well after about a week, i was out of medication, and the problem was gone for a good while, about a month or two. During that time i have had dry eye, and would use lubrication drops every now and then, and sometimes the allergy drops, but now it has come back again. Why does this keep happening and how can i get rid of it? I dont want to have to run to a doctor forever. I do beleive it is Blepharitis as well, he gave me eye scrubs, but it does not seem to help very much.

Eye Problems? Alright well yesterday the top of my left eye was hurting. It was like the top part that is inside the socket. I thought it was just some random thing and didn't worry about it. Then earlier today it happened again with my right eye. And while my right eye was hurting, I had blurry vision and a small black spot on my left eye. All of these problems also brought up headaches. Eye problems? I have strabismus since I was like 2-3 years old...after I had surgery to correct crossed eyes. I had patching as well. I don't really know how to explain what condition they're in b/c sometimes when I look in the mirror my eyes' muscles seem to be OK...not as strong as normal eyes, but still OK. The problem instead seems to be that they do NOT move together. I can move my left eye around (and I'll be doing this in the mirror) and it looks fine, but then my right eye won't move. My right eye will then only move if/when I turn my left eye all the way to the side...and then my right eye will follow...it's like they are only "aligned" when it moves to the sides or straight ahead...but they are not so when just moving. I don't think this has restricted myself in life too much...only two people in my whole life (I'm in my early 20's) have mentioned it...one in high school...and he was a class mate friend...he said it isn't that noticeable. And my other friend in HS/college who said "You didn't have that in HS, did you?" And I have had no problems in the dating arena. Girls are always making out with me,lap dances, giving me head on a first date, my last serious girlfriend we were living together w/ a promise ring. However, in my professional life, I feel like it can hold me back at times. Like in interviews it kinda makes me shy to look at the guy straight in the eye and talk and in result my personality comes off as shy and stuff. When I'm actually really outgoing and talkative around people I know. I'm thinking about getting this corrected some time in the next few years with surgery... but I'm a little scared. Like I've seen 4 people with this condition (2 at work, 2 at my college)...the ones I saw in the customers looked weird. Mine don't look like that (I see them in the mirror, pictures, videos). His eye muscles work well, normal, but his eyes aren't aligned. Can you picture that? So his eyes move "normal speed" however they are off on alignment. They m move at the SAME TIME...but not together...so it is very noticeable. The other customer, and the one guy at my school, his eye is always off to the side while the other is looking straight. My eyes do that sometimes...but I can CONTROL IT, and revert my eyes back to looking straight when I want. But my eye muslces are actually WEAK compared to the above. My eyes don't "smoothly move" but instead they kinda drift over to the side when I look that way. So I mean will the surgery mess them up like that? Improve the eye muscles but still be mis aligned? Bc that looks worse to me.

Eye Problems?? Im 17. I have astigmatism so my eyes are pretty bad! lol. Lately i have been seeing wierd things though. I'm not sure how to describe this,so please bare with me! Ok,you know when you close your eyes? And you see all of those different colors swirling around. And if you leave them closed long enough they get more clear,and then when you open your eyes it all you see for a minute until they adjust? Well i see that ALL THE TIME. I can't even go to the movies,because in the dark all i see are all those darn swirly colors. And in the pitch dark,when i close my eyes and open them it stays the same. The colors are always the same whether my eyes are opened or closed. Is this a symptom of an eye problem,or am i just trippin? lol. info is appreciated! No. I mean i went like 5 times a few years ago. But i doubt that is enough to do any damage. Hmm.....

Eye problems? The corner of the lower eyelid of my left eye is a bit swollen/reddish and tender, and I'm kind of worried because one of the girls in my school left early today with pink eye, but since my eye isn't actually red, I don't think it's the problem. The eye itself looks okay, and it's barely noticeable, but it hurts a tiny tiny bit every so often when I blink. Additionally, I have a picture of it. Eye problems?? Hey all...okay so here's the problem. I just got a pair of contacts because I seriously was tired of squinting all the time just to see things. At times, before I got my contacts, my eyes would flood with tears at random intervals and they would get red...I thought that this may have been from the eye straining that I would always do when I squinted. So, now that I have had my pair of contacts + glasses, I have no experienced that awful flood of tears. They werent there before I put the contacts in, but afterwards they got there...I'm 17, and I have an appointment this friday to check out my contacts on my eye, so what should I tell them about what's going on? For the record, i used to squint ALL the time, so that's why I think the watering was caused by eye strain! Oh...contact solution? I mixed two contact solutions together because I ran out of the first one, and I still had trouble getting it in, so I used the other one to moisten it back up....maybe that's the problem?

Eye Problems? I failed this eye exam and the school left a message at my house saying that they need the consent for the Free Eye Clinic at my school back by monday. The problem is that my parents dont know i failed the exam and i plan not to tell them until a few months from now... Eye problems...? Ok, I'm not so sure when this started but I seem to have problems with my eyes. Whenever I look at something, or move my eyes, I see these "lines." Now, most of you guys probably won'y understand, but theyre just lines, and some are like circles. When i look at the sky, a lot of them appear. The "lines" are just floating around in my vision. Eye Problems =[? Im 13 years old and im having problems with my eyes. When I sit on the floor just a little bit away from the tv, I go into the guide and I have to squint so that I can read it. Everything that I do.. I like squint all the time.. im getting sick of it. My eyes hurt all the time and I just cant take it. I tell my mom and dad about it and all they say is that I have to wait till January because my mom cant add me to her insurance to then.. and if i have to get glasses she doesn't want to pay 200 dollars for them. But I dont want to wait anymore. What should I do? Just keep squinting and wait till January..? Or what.. I dont know what to do.. not squit. Eye problems? I feel my vision deteriorate. I wear glasses and i have seen 2 different opthalmologysts for the oast 2 years. They say they see nothing wrong with my eyes and blod test shows no diabetes , i had MRI done for multiple sclerosis and nothing wrong was found either. Eye problems? I'm in my early twenties and my eyes don't work together. I was crossed eyes as a young kid...actually one y/o. I had surgery and patches which corrected the crossness of my eyes (originally they were both looking toward my nose). But neither treatments aligned my eyes together to work together. The doctor wanted to do another surgery after the initial one and patches, but I never had that done. Do you think that was to fix the actual alignment? Anyway, if I am looking straight ahead the eyes look aligned together and I can see with binocular vision. But if I look right or left only one eye turns...and like I can actually SEE myself looking straight with one eye and to the left/right with the other. I can sorta force my straight looking eye in the direction of the other eye so it appears aligned, but looked closely and you can kinda see they aren't. But just naturally, my one eye will be looking straight and the other will look left/right...but I CAN control when it moves..they just don't together. It's really embarrassing b/c I feel like a retard and know I look cooky but it ain't my fault and certainly am not retarded.

eye problems...? my eye has been acting up for like a month and a half now at first when i saw the eye doctor he gave me dry-eye like treatment i went back and then he figured i mite be allergic to my contacts so he gave me more drops its been a month and a half and its not going away!!! my eye is a bit itchy but its mostly me just trying to get this film of stuff off my eye. every so often my eye will cloud over with this film and i dont know what it is!!! now i have a cold (sore throat, runny nose, etc.) and when i woke up this morning my entire eye was encrusted with white and then my eye had like boogers commin out of it and so i showered then used eyedrops to at least clear my eye... i dont know if this is related can anyone help me!? thanks so much!!!

eye problems? last thursday i woke up and my eye was crusted over with sleep. ever since then my left eye has been increadibally red. i started using eye drops and it helped then on saturday the other eye started to get red. now they are both incredibally red and everytime i use the eye drops my eyes burn. my eyes dont itch so i dont think its pink eye but im wondering if anyone has any ideas what it may be? help please my mom thinks im just always stoned (which im not) and is starting to not trust me! i dont wear contacts btw also i dont have medical insurance so i need an at home remedy because i cant go to the doctor

Eye problems?? I'm a 22 y/o female and have a lazy eye. I had surgery when I was 2 to correct crossed eyes and also worse patches. It aligned my eyes straight but the muscles are still weak. And they don't move/work together. Like they look aligned if I'm looking straight but if I turn one of my eyes the other will remain straight. And vice versa. And my eyes don't have a lot of movements....they can turn left/right, look straight, and that's about it. If you look at me, it looks like I'm sleeping with my eyes opened...it's SO annoying. I researched treatment options...there's strabismus surgery, eye vision therapy, or prisms. I actually read the surgery has only a 10-20% rate of needing a 2nd surgery. So in other words it has a 80% success rate that the first surgery will work. However, I am terrified of going under and what recovery will be like. And how well will the surgery improve my eyes? PLEASE give me any advice you can! I am SO self-conscious about this! Do I have lazy eye or strabismus? And also sometimes my eyes start to strain when I try to force them to look in the same direction. Is that dangerous?? Is it that my eye muscles are weak that causes the eyes to move slowly or the fact they don't work together??

Eye Problems? Ok I went on vacation yesterday to Busch Gardens. We went to Water Country and on the way home I noticed that my eyes were cloudy and a little pink (not too much). Later on I went to sleep woke up and put eye drops in my eyes and that settled it down. The next day I woke up, my eyes were swollen from rubbing them for so long the night before. They were hard to open but they opened later on during the day. I have had some allergy issues with my eyes when they were very itchy and have had a couple styes. But I don't think thats the case. What could these symptoms lead up to? Also, my eyes aren't even pink anymore and haven't been since yesterday night. They just feel kind of swollen but my eyes are completley open now.

They looked at me for about a minute and told me i had double eye infection and pescribed me eyedrops for 5 days. 5 days pass and my eyes are not pink but still stick together when i wake up. I keep taking the medication for another 5 days like the medication said on the little book that came with it ( against what the doctors orginally perscribed). By day ten i stop the medication and my eyes are fine( 1 day ago). I woke up this morning with ichy eyes and they were pink.Then i took a nap and woke up to them sicking together and really pink,they are not pink anymore because i put the medicated eye drops back in them. They are REALLY sensitive to light because of the medication so i have to wear sunglasses for a few hours after using the drops. I know i cant keep using them because the little book says not to, i dont know if should go back to the doctor? I also have allergies.

Eye Problems? My eye has really been hurting. I have had contacts for about a month, and they have felt okay until now. I just started wearing eyeliner/mascara. The white part of my eye (I don't know what it is called) becomes red and sore. It causes my eye to water. It hurts to blink sometimes. Does it sound like it is pink eye? Or do you think that my eye makeup is just irritating my eye? Thanks!

Eye problems.? Well the other night my eye was bothering the heck out of me. I put so contact cleaner on my eye. That didn't help so I took my contact out. Later instead of it just bothering me, it started to hurt really bad. I woke up that night and it was a lot worse. I went to the Emergency room and I was given eye drops. They never did find out what was wrong with it. It's been a couple days and it's still red. Today while I was putting them in my grandpa noticed a red smudge of my eye. What is going on with my eye?

Eye problems?? My cousin was mowing the lawn and he hit a rock and it hit him in the eye. He can't see out of that eye but he says that the rock hit him outside of the eye not inside and now he has a black eye. Can he get any eye drops to help him? Does he have to go to the doctor?

eye problems? when i get up my eyes are really red sometimes theyve got discharge ive been to the docs.. not conjunctivitis sometimes the discharge goes onto my eye and i cant see.. and its gooey.[lol] its really irritating. any ideas on what it is/what to do sometimes i wear contact lenses and have trouble with them coz sometimes mainy on my right eye discharge goes onto them or it doesnt move with my eye my eyes can run loads too

Eye Problems? I'm not good at explaining so, bare with me~ I went to get my hair cute at a salon in walmart. I got a cut were my bangs come over my left eye, bu my bangs weren't long enough so I needed extension. The next day my eye turned red and I had symptoms of pink eye. & my eye is like blurry and itchy. So,.. what to do? do you think i caught it from the salon?

Eye Problems? when i wake up in the morning my eyes seem very blurry. i can see clearly but when i look at my eyes there are blurry and sum what of a hazel brownish (natural eye color are dark brown). but an hour later my eyes are normal. is this a sign that maybe when i get older i will be blind? please help

Eye problems? I have yellowy stuff on my eyelashes and at the corner of my eyes every day especially in the mornings when I wake up. Also pinky white bit at the corner of each eye (the corner near the nose) what is it called beacuse I noticed that they stick out more than usual. e.g. if I face the mirror my face sideways then i look at the mirror (without moving my head) the pinky white corner stands out it looks creepy. Also i noticed my eyeballs have red lines in it (forgot what they're called) and my eyes are itchy. Is this the beginnings of conjunctiivitis (pink eye)? Should I go to the doctor even if it's just irritating?

Eye Problems..? I have 20/60 vision in my right eye and 20/80 vision in my left eye.I am 12 years old.When I blink my eyes they do not shut completely.A few times a week I will just look at something and little rainbow blotches appear and go in the up direction.Once in a while one of my eyes will twitch uncontrolebly for about 30 seconds.Whats up?

eye problems? i have astigmatism 20/200 on my left eye and a norma right eye, im wearing glasses right know and they give me better sight. i tried toric lenses they suck, do you think rigid gas permeable lenses will provide the same clarity and vision that eye glasses do? what do you think about hybrid contacts?

Eye problems? heey guys, when I was young my eye vision would increase from a far distance. This only happens in the middle of the night while I sleep and I could see my vision going into a distance while my eye is close, then when i open my eyes my vision goes far. I use to get really scared but no one believed me . Anyyways, today I think it was about to happen again in how many years .. but I just slept it off . However, it might just be my dream thats scarying me but I dont know im scaaared. is this normal? Well I have glasses.

Ok i am 14 years old almost 15 and I went to the Eye Doctor yesterday for a new perscription and to get my eyes checked and she said that I have a freckle in my retina.. she stressed the fact that it was big.. she said sometimes they are cancerous but there is a small chance and she thought it looked smooth and flat so she didnt think it was cancerous. I am going to another eye doctor tommorow to see what he says then i might go to a retina specialist. has anyone ever seen this before or does any one know the possibility that it is cancer. Any one know anything else about it?

eye problems? heya all this afternoon we were sitting in class when someone telt me to look underneath my eye when i did i seen like ermm red rings i hadnt been rubbing my eyes or havent got anything in them there also quite swollen and they only way i can describe it is it looks like i have carpet burns under my eyes does anyone have a clue what this could be and if so what should i do ? thanx all :)

Eye problems? Every now and then this happens to me and I have no idea why. From one of the corners of my eye, I get this...it's hard to describe. it's like a big pulsating blob in my vision, it distorts that area of what I'm trying to look at. it absorbs the colors around it and looks like it's moving or like it's alive. my head doesn't hurt, but the last time I had this I had a massive headache and I felt like throwing up. but so far, so good. I can still see it when I close my eyes, and the blob moves as I move my eyes around to look at different things. Like, as I am typing this, it's hard for me to see the left side of the box with what im typing. but, when I turn my head to the right, I can see it better, although not as well as I usually can. I have absolutely no idea what's going on. Help?!

eye problems? My right eye is lower than my left or i should i say I have a lazy eye but both appear to be lazy but the right is more sever. I have nice eyes but they are weak looking. Anyone knows any good doctors and does insurance cover this type of surgery?

Eye Problems? Well, my left eye I ended up scratching and now it seems like it gets dried out really easily (I wear contacts but haven't for the last week or so, still doing it). My right eye lid has a bump like.. inside of it, it twitches an awful lot, and my right eye gets really teary at the randomest times. The bump thing has been there for over a year, but the twitching and wateryness just started about a month ago. Is something wrong or is it just a random thing that'll pass? Please don't guess when you're answering, I need a real answer.

Eye problems...? I wear monthly contacts. I was just putting in new ones about an hour ago when the left contact realy was irratating me. Usually when i put both contacts in they will bother me for say 5 minutes and then my eyes will adjust but this lasted for about a half an hour. My right contact is perfectly fine and i just put in a completely new contact in my left eye which now seems to be fine as well. I still have a little ache in my left eye from the ordeal. I use Night and Day monthly contacts and Opti Free Replinesh solution. I was just wondering if anyone knew what was wrong. Could it be that there can be some bad contacts in a batch, or does anyone know if Opti Free has been recalled ( i know that the other two contact solutions i have used in the past were recalled because of bacteria), in short is there anything for me to be concerned about. eye problems? my eye has being twitching since monday then my right eye started twitching today it really annoying what can i do to make it stop and why is it doing that.

Eye problems? I keep gettin pimple like things around my eye lashes. Ive been gettin them for a few weeks now. I only get one at a time and it seems like everytime I get rid of one, I get another one ( like the next day). I had one about 2 weeks ago that got so infected the swelling was down in my cheek and it started to bruise, and I had 2 swollen lymph nodes, 1 in my throat, and 1 behind my ear. It only happens in my right eye, so Im pretty sure its not my make up causing it. At first I just thought it was a sty, but now that Im getting so many, I dont know what to think. Any and all answers will be appreciated. I should also add that these "bumps" appear in diffrent places each time. They have been in each corner of my eye, in the middle, and both on top and bottom eye lid. But its always in my eye lashes.
