Lasik Eye Correction

Eye surgery?

I have just had a piece of glass removed from my eye and will also have to undergo a cataract operation in the next two weeks. How long am I likely to be off work and when (if ever) can I start driving? Have an appointment with a specialist tomorrow but just wondered....

1. cataract surgery is not usually an overnight stay in hospital but it will take 6 weeks before you can get re-tested to see what your vision has leveled out at. I couldn't really say how long you will be unable to drive for but its best to leave it for that six week period. your gp will be able to advise you better.
