Eye surgery?
You know the ones where they shoot a beam at your eyes and then your have perfect vision and what not. I want to know everything about it. Does it hurt?Cause harm?Expensive?etc?

- You don't get perfect vision. My mom had it done, and she doesn't need glasses in every day life, but when she reads small stuff, she still needs them. Another drawback is that her eyes now get dry very easily, so she needs eye drops all the time, especially in the winter time when the heat is on.
- LASIK or laser-assisted-in-situ- keratomileusis. no, it does not hurt. it usually does not cause harm, although in rare cases it can. it still runs about $2000/eye in the U.S. sometimes "perfect" vision, sometimes not. http://www.fda.gov/cdrh/lasik/
