what is the difference between lasik and phacoemulsification?
why is one not recommended to do phacoemulsification instead of lasik. that would solve all lens and number problems once and for all

- Haai...Lasik and Phaco are two entirely diffrent surgeries. Lasik is done to correct refractory errors like Myopia, Hyperopia and Astigmatism. Phaco is done to remove cataracts. Cataract is a opacification of the natural lens inside the eye. Lasik is done externally on the cornea. So you cannot alternate lasik and Phaco.
