eye problems?

hello , well my eye problems have arisen for 3 days, my first day the eye kinda hurt and then in the 2nd and 3rd day it has been the same, what my problems consits of is that i seem to have a bum on my eye and everytime i blink it kinda hurts and it s like a pinpall or whatevr they call, it like those things you get in your nose when u have a cold thos like round thing like a bump that hurts, i was wondering how could i cure thise eye probl;em will it just pass away, or what kind of redemy is there, i was planning on using as towel with hot water and salt and put over my eye, what can i do, oh and it is in my right eye from my view.

1. I am guessing you have an eye stye. I have had one of these recently. The first day it seemed to burn and as the days went on I could feel it and it was like a little ball inside my eye under the bottom eyelid. If I were you I'd just put hot compresses on it and it will go away soon. Mine only lasted for about 4 days.
2. It could be either a stye or a pterygium, which is a small cyst that grows on your eye. Both are harmless, but can irritate your eyes. The stye can be cured with antibiotic drops, but the pterygium does require surgery to remove it. The surgery is done on an outpatient basis and is not too painful. I would try the hot compresses, but don't use salt. Try flushing your eyes with sterile saline, which can be bought over the counter at any drugstore. See an ophthalmologist if the compresses don't cure it within a week.
