Does being directly in front of the computer for ever 50hrs/wk cause serious eye problems?
I feel I am losing my eye sight more and more. I cant see things far away like i used to be able to and im only 21. Even getting my license renewed was harder than usual because of the eye test (I barely passed). So is being in front of the computer this much going to cause serious problems and require i get eye glasses or contacts? Any help is really apprecitated before i got see the eye doctor.

- Could you make your font bigger I could hardly see it to mush computing I guess
- it is best to have a yearly check-up to know if your eye problem is distance problem or a retina one. In my case, I work n front of the computer for almost 3hours a day and I do use my computer at home for almost 2 hours, i feel my eyesight got affected. I am wearing progressive lens - my reading is going up. My ophthalmologist suggested that i should rest my eyes look at cool surface before once in a while or it gets tired, look away from the screen.
- You should rest them about every hour for about ten minutes, but if you do that you should be fine.
