Can eye problems be a cause of chronic fatigue?

And if so, what problems are they? Thanks!

1. I was diagnosed with chronic fatigue years ago, it has turned into fibromyalgia. About once a year, I get an eye infection that I've been told is symptomatic of fibromyalgia - it feels almost like pink eye....like I have sand in my eyes, and requires an antibiotic drop. It's painful, my eyes swell and I'm glad it only happens once a year.
2. It might: I know from experience that eye strain can be very tiring- especially when there is something I'm trying to read.
