Lasik Eye Correction

My hamster might be having some eye problems?

My hamster keeps waking up with her eye closed i cant tell if its the same one everyday, or if it switches..i think its been both of them once or twice. All I know is my mom opens it for her or i do. Does that mean anything? Should we get her anything for it? Should we not open it for her anymore? Please Help

1. i'm a big pet lover, i would take my pet to the vet. he might have a cold in his eyes, you should go and check it out.
2. how old is it? with age sometimes this happens more frequently. it can also be a cold or allergies. what bedding do u use? if it is pine or cedar immediately change it to carefresh and/or aspen. the oils in pine/cedar can cause allergies. is it sneezing or any oher cold symptoms? they can catch cold easily from humans and from being in a drafty area. make sure she's not near a window or outside door. u can buy vitamins to add to its water to keep its immunity up, but if it's a cold it may need vet antibiotics. u can open the eye with a clean wash cloth with warm water on it. wipe gently front to back.
