How old do u have to be to get laser eye surgery?

Hi im 11 years old and i want laser eye surgery can i get alser eye surgery if i cant how old do i have to be.

1. I'm not sure of the exact age, but I know you have to be older then 11. Your eyesight is probably still changing. You have to wait until the changes have settled before you can get the surgery.
2. The earliest is age 18, but I'd recommend waiting until you are 22 or 23 to be sure you body is finished growing and changing before having the surgery.

4. 11 years is way too young, your body is still growing, hitting puberty, and when you get your growth spurt your eyes will grow longer as well, so that will affect your seeing and so if you get laser eye surgery now, there's no use because it's going to be ruined. Plus, in most cases, you have to be 18 or older.
5. My eye specialist says you need to be 21 or older, because that is the time your body (and eyes) are fully developed. Many people confuse this being 18 or older, because that is when you are legally an adult, but for LASIK, the recommended age is 21+. However, some states have made it legal for the age of 18, so you CAN do it at 18...but 21 is the best age.
