eye problems...?

my eye has been acting up for like a month and a half now at first when i saw the eye doctor he gave me dry-eye like treatment i went back and then he figured i mite be allergic to my contacts so he gave me more drops its been a month and a half and its not going away!!! my eye is a bit itchy but its mostly me just trying to get this film of stuff off my eye. every so often my eye will cloud over with this film and i dont know what it is!!! now i have a cold (sore throat, runny nose, etc.) and when i woke up this morning my entire eye was encrusted with white and then my eye had like boogers commin out of it and so i showered then used eyedrops to at least clear my eye... i dont know if this is related can anyone help me!? thanks so much!!!

1. make sure you rinse eyes with saline solution to start and do not wipe with tissues or dirty fingers go see your doctors again.

3. It sounds as if you now have an infection. With your third visit to the eye doctor, he or she should take a culture. There may be other issues. Depending on the type of contacts you have, you might need the optician to check them. Sometimes a tiny scratch or miniscule foreign body can get imbedded in one. Are you using aseptic technique with your contacts? Are your solutions and utensils clean? Recently a company who makes various eye solutions (Bausch & Lomb?) had to recall several types of eye solutions and drops because of contamination.
4. Do you have a thyroid condition? I sometimes get this blurry cloudy haze in my vision and when I spoke to my eye doctor about it she told me it's possibly related because hypothyroidism can cause tissues to thicken. Normally it's your fingernails or skin, but it can be your corneas and even your heart tissue.
5. sounds like fungal keratitis. Your Dr. needs to properly diagnose you and prescribe the right RX for you. Good luck=
6. i think you should go see ur doctor and next time that happens take pictures and if he try to gives u eye drops keep telling him they dont work
