Eye problems?

I have yellowy stuff on my eyelashes and at the corner of my eyes every day especially in the mornings when I wake up. Also pinky white bit at the corner of each eye (the corner near the nose) what is it called beacuse I noticed that they stick out more than usual. e.g. if I face the mirror my face sideways then i look at the mirror (without moving my head) the pinky white corner stands out it looks creepy. Also i noticed my eyeballs have red lines in it (forgot what they're called) and my eyes are itchy. Is this the beginnings of conjunctiivitis (pink eye)? Should I go to the doctor even if it's just irritating?

1. Conjunctivitis (or pink eye) is very contagious! Don't touch your eyes. Try and rest them until you can be seen by your Optometrist or Opthamologist. Make an appointment as soon as possible. Warm compresses may help soothe your eyes for the time being. Good luck!
