Eye problems?
Every now and then this happens to me and I have no idea why. From one of the corners of my eye, I get this...it's hard to describe. it's like a big pulsating blob in my vision, it distorts that area of what I'm trying to look at. it absorbs the colors around it and looks like it's moving or like it's alive. my head doesn't hurt, but the last time I had this I had a massive headache and I felt like throwing up. but so far, so good. I can still see it when I close my eyes, and the blob moves as I move my eyes around to look at different things. Like, as I am typing this, it's hard for me to see the left side of the box with what im typing. but, when I turn my head to the right, I can see it better, although not as well as I usually can. I have absolutely no idea what's going on. Help?!

- go see your eye doctor sounds like a retnia issue
- Sounds to me like an ophthalmic migraine. I've had them myself. It's called a "migraine" but it's painless. To me it starts out as a spot in the middle of my vision. The it expands into a flashing ring that I can see with my eyes closed. No matter how I move my eyes, it's always in he center if my vision. The ring gets bigger and bigger until it's beyond my field of vision. Then I'm fine. The whole thing lasts maybe 20-30 minutes. I only just found out what it is. It's weird, but apparently harmless. Get it checked out. I'm not a doctor and I wouldn't dare diagnose you on line. See a professional. Let us know how it turns out, OK?
- It's possible that you are developing little harder areas in the vitreous of your eye. Most people call them floaters. I have them and they drive me crazy, but the ophthalmologist says there's nothing that can be done. I know what you mean about them getting in the way when you're looking at things. If that really is what you have, the migraine would have not been related.
