Eye problems?
I keep gettin pimple like things around my eye lashes. Ive been gettin them for a few weeks now. I only get one at a time and it seems like everytime I get rid of one, I get another one ( like the next day). I had one about 2 weeks ago that got so infected the swelling was down in my cheek and it started to bruise, and I had 2 swollen lymph nodes, 1 in my throat, and 1 behind my ear. It only happens in my right eye, so Im pretty sure its not my make up causing it. At first I just thought it was a sty, but now that Im getting so many, I dont know what to think. Any and all answers will be appreciated. I should also add that these "bumps" appear in diffrent places each time. They have been in each corner of my eye, in the middle, and both on top and bottom eye lid. But its always in my eye lashes.

- You need to make a doctor's appointment.
- I get those everyso offten as well. take a warm wash cloth and cover it for 5-10 min. and make sure you get enough sleep. to rub your eyes with out washing your hands first. if they keep comming go see a doctor about them.
- Sounds like some kind of infection..
- You may have a cyst on your eyelid that may be getting infected. It could be a sty --but that should not cause you to swell and your lymph nodes to enlarge. When the lymph nodes get swollen --that is a sign you have an infection some where in your body. Your immune system is trying to fight the infection is why the lymph nodes enlarge. I would definitely see an eye Dr. There are so many things that can harm your eyes and you don't know when its happening--so see a Dr. soon. I would think that you may be allergic to your makeup--but you ruled that out because its just one eye-- I think that it may be a small cysts that is getting infected --perhaps by your make up. try leaving off the whole makeup for a few days and wash the eye with sterile cotton cloths. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before you touch the eye--every time you do anything to it. We sometimes get germs on our hands and touch the eye therefore getting germs and bacteria in the eye causing an infection. Best thing to do here is see an Eye Dr as soon as you can- we only have one set of eyes -Take good care of them they have to last a life time.
- It may be a Chalazion or eyelid cyst which is an inflammation of a gland of the eyelid. My son gets these and has to go to the eye doctor to have them drained and medicated. Sometimes they get quite large if untreated. Hot compresses are part of the treatment. Try the link I've provided for more info.
