  1. It is good and works but their is a very small chance that something very bad could happen. Up to you.
  2. I know lots of people who have had laser eye surgery, Lasik. They are all very pleased with the outcome. Talk to your optometrist and see if you are a good candidate for it and then make your decision. Good luck!
  3. I can't make tears anymore so every four hours I have to put drops in. If you live in a dry place I don't know if it is worth it. My eyesight was very bad and there is a chance that I will have to get a touch up it has been less than a year. My vision has faded some. Based on what I know now, I don't know if I would do it again. The people were nice and I got good care and good follow-up went to Lasik Plus.
  4. I had lasic, completed all with laser, no scapel, last august. They gave me 2 valium, I felt extreme pressure during the procedure. For about 3 days following, my eyes ached. Since then it has been wonderful to see.
  5. There are risk with any surgery. As long as your eyes are healthy and you do not have thin corneas, chances are good you will do fine with laser surgery. You should schedule a consultation at a Lasik center. They will give you more info and examine your eyes to make sure Laser surgery is a good option for you. If it isn't, they may discuss other options, such as Intacs, with you.
