- Go for it, thousands of people are having laser surgery now, and you only hear good things about it. Check out the following website. http://www.londonvisionclinic.com/?utm_source=overture&utm_medium=ppc&utm_term=laser+surgery
- agree, i'd say wait until you're a bit older to get eye surgery done. not only so that your eyes don't change so much anymore, but also because the procedure of eye surgery involves removing a layer of your eye lens that has been causing you to not be able to see very well (umm, an eye doctor may have to bail me out on this one... i'm not an expert myself). the best person to ask would be your optometrist. btw, why don't you wear contact lenses in the meantime?
- My eyesight is 20/400. At one time I wanted to do Lasik surgery, but I was too afraid of the risk. I recently started doing eye exercises to try to improve my vision. I created a blog where I record my progress with the exercises. I haven't seen any improvement as yet, but other people (who have experienced improvements) also post comments about their experiences as well. You can check it out at: http://improvingmyeyesight.com/blog Good luck
- Have Lasik. It is quick and permanent. Make sure that you have a stable prescription before you have the surgery and that your surgeon is reputable. If you have further questions, see an Ophthalmologist, not an optometrist. An Ophthalmologist is an eye surgeon and they would be doing the surgery if you decide to have it done.Dry eye is a common complaint after Lasik but it usually goes away after 3-4 months.
