Lasik Eye Correction

Please anyone knows any deals about laser eye correction?

I am considering having Laser eye Surgery but when I Ask for the consultation it seemed that everyone there had different offers, with different amounts. I have the new year offer of around 900 pounds for one eye from ultralase. Has anyone recently had any other offer letter from any other doctor or institution and if so, for what amount and what offer was it please let me know thx? I am in London Area...

1. Well I just think you should not do it because there may be secondary problems in the future which may affect your vision
2. Here's food for thought: no matter what the cost, the fact is most laser eye surgery is only effective up to 5 years. It's true. My sister had the surgery, 4 years later when her eyes were reverting back, she decided that glasses where cheaper and more convenient than MORE surgery.
3. dont look for a deal you can afford... go some where good, get it done properly... or maybe you could get it done on holiday in america??? sight is priceless in my mind its not worth risking with cheap surgery.
4. Here in the states you can get it as low as $250 an eye. Not saying I would recommend going there, but 900 pounds per eye is too much for such a easy procedure that doesn't require you to be put out.
5. Cheapest is not always a good ides to start. Check out with aprofessional as my optician does not agree with this treatment unless rally necessary for medical reasons and not cosmetic. If it goes well which it does for alot of people then good but if it goes wrong (and it is the most seen reason for court action in medical courts) for compensation It is disasterous. You only have one pair of eyes. It does NOT stop your eyes from deteriating further so for this reason make sure your eyes have settled at the same prescription as in a couple years you may need corrective glassed and once you had laser treatment you cannot go back to contact lenses.(That is the reason I decided against it). Also it does not correct a stigmatism.
6. Laser eye surgery is very safe nowadays. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges Laser surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Fly2india4health Consultants. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star. My cousin got her Dental surgery done there and she is more than very happy with the results. She is all praise for Fly2india4health Consultants. She paid just 20% of the cost what she was quoted in USA and it was like a wonderful vacation for her.
