  1. The major con is losing your eyesight and going blind. The pro would be if it does work. Check out Kathy Griffin's story for more information.
  2. Pro's : It's a pretty routine surgery now so you would most likely be succesful in perfect vision. Con's: There is always the risk of going completely blind. Either way best wishes to you!
  3. My brother had laser eye surgery. One of his side effects is a type of glare. Light distorts, so that night driving, especially, is difficult. But, he wears corrective lenses to help him with that problem. Before the surgery he had vision that required plasic lenses a half inch thick. Now, he just wears lenses that are comparible to reading glasses.
  4. go to your doc and discuss your condition with him. laser is available for a variety of disorders - then get to me, i will see if i can add to your new found knowledge.
  5. the pros are you can pay the bill in instalments, you will be able to see better. the cons you could go blind and they would still make you pay the bill
  6. A Con: even if the surgery is completely successful, your eye will age naturally and like the over 40 crowd, you will experience vision changes that will most likely force you into glasses once again.
  7. Yeah, the sad fact is, things can go wrong & you can go blind. But, my sister had one & she only needs to wear sunglasses form the sun's glare. I thought about having it too, but currently I'm into contacts-Specs suck!
