Lasik Eye Correction

Who or which plans cover corrective eye surgery?

In Canada, does anyone know what the deal is on corrective eye surgery, as in: do most company benefit plans cover it? Or do many insurance companies cover it? Or vice versa?

1. I don't think insurance covers it because it's an elective cosmetic surgery. Insurance in the US doesn't cover it, so I'm guessing Canada is the same way. If you have a flexible spending account of insurance, that might pay for it. I would call your insurance company. If your talking about the universal care, they definitely won't cover it.
