Lasik Eye Correction

Have you had eye laser surgery for vision correction?

or know someone who has? i am looking to get it done... any input is great, thanks! ~ tired of wearing glasses~

4. Never had. I wear contact lenses though. It very simple surgery, a friend of mine had it done a year ago and he is very pleased. I do not have the courage do it...

8. Yes, I had mine done 11 years ago and I was very happy with the results. My eyesight was really bad and I had been wearing glasses since the age of 13. I could go without glasses/contact lenses for the first time in my life. I wholeheartedly recommend it. Make sure you ask around about who the best surgeons are. My eyesight is only slightly deteriorating now, but it's probably more due to natural ageing. (I'm in my forties now.)
9. Yes, I had it done 7 years ago. It was taking only 15 minutes for both eyes and they keep on improving the machines. I bet it is quicker now. Never had any problem afterwards. I wasn't allowed to put make up on 10 days, that's all. Good luck.
10. Yes, I had it done six years ago. I wore glasses for 45 years. This was the best money I ever spent. It is so nice to be able to actually see a clock at night or to go swimming and recognize people.

20. I know of several people, including my wife, that have had it done. All are very happy with it. I wear glasses myself, but I'm too big of a chicken. Maybe sometime.

22. I know a few people that has had Lasik surgery and it seems to be working just fine for them. I would like to do it myself, but it has not been around long enough to see the long terms effect it may have in the future. Whose to say that something can't go wrong down the line. I don't want to take that risk. But good luck to you if you decide to do the surgery.
